Christmas Table Decoration Ideas

So much of Christmas celebrations revolve around the family table, so doesn't it deserve to be dressed for the festivities? Here are a few Christmas tables to help inspire your table's look the holiday season.

Warm, inviting, yet special and elegant, this Christmas table blends formality and comfort like no other I've seen. Gold chargers, cutlery, votive candles and scattered ornaments at each setting offer a richness that a Christmas table deserves, but the tartan linen they all rest upon gives the entire look a homey feel. Regardless of what you're serving, I'd be hard pressed to walk away from the table with a look like this!

You can't go wrong with a silver and gold color combination for your Christmas table. It's the easiest way to add holiday flair to your design and also gives you a flexibility you wouldn't neccesarily have otherwise - I love the ecclectic feel these sorts of table have! Melissa designed a festive table thatincorporates so much detail without having to work too hard to do so!

I'll let the fabulous lines of these plates do most of the talking, but I will say one thing. If you can only use one other thing to dress your table for Christmas, use evergreen! How fantastic is this lively evergreen table runner?

Here in the northeast we don't think warm and beachy at Christmastime - unless we're trying to escape the bitter cold and snow. What I love about this coastal Christmas table is how richly winter and festive it looks, all while still incorporating classic seaside details. Starfish and cranberries can work together!
