DIY Color Boosted Hair
If the cloudy days of fall have got you and your hair feeling a little drab, join the club. It could be that the sun isn’t out or that we’re in the home stretch before our next color appointment, in any case our hair is looking pretty dull. The solution to this problem might be as close as your kitchen.
We’ve got the perfect trick to try the next time you’re looking to give your hair (colored or not) a boost with tea.
Step 1: Fill a mug or bowl with 2 cups of boiling h20.
Step 2: Steep two teabags in the hot water. If you’re a blonde you’ll need chamomile tea, black tea for brunettes and roobios for heads of the red variety.
Step 3: After the tea has cooled on it’s own or you refrigerated it (you speed demon you) pour it over your head in the shower.
Step 4: Work the tea through your hair as you would shampoo. Then, wait 10 minutes before washing and conditioning your hair as usual.
Step 5: Make people stare at that gorgeous head of hair.
