Korebel Gala Fundraising Dinner

Mozzaikwall had the pleasure to attend the Korebel Gala Fundraising Dinner held at Adria Hotel on Saturday, June 23, 2012.  We were entertained by the great vocalist Felina Baker and John Larose.  Korebel presented Ms. Chelsey Kivland an award for her relentless effort in schooling the children of Korebel in Haiti.  Also, political dignitaries such as Mr. Joseph M. Champagne, mayor of South Tom Rivers in New Jersey and Mr. Jumaane Williams,  Councilmember 45th district in Brooklyn graced their presence by attending and supporting this event.  Mr. Champagne gave an eloquent speech about the importance of education.
The food was delicious and the drinks were plentiful.  To close the night,  DJ Sketch was spun the best and latest tune.
