GT Mobay restaurant (GT is for Georgetown, Guyana, and Mobay for a town in Jamaica). We met the owner Egbert Berthune the most humble man you can meet. The restaurant opened in 2008 and has been thriving since. In addition to great food and drinks, there is Karaoke night three times a week, party night on Saturdays and Reggae on Thursdays just to name a few. GT Mobay brings us a little slice of the island through its cuisine and ambiance. We had a great time and highly recommend this jewel in Queens.
