What Sandy left behind in Queens

I took a walk in my neighborhood in Queens and could not believe what Hurricane Sandy left behind.

Thanks to Verizon, Con Ed, Lipa, FDNY, P.O., cable vision and the Gas company for all their hard work.

Down trees are the major problems, they come down with the power lines.

Mozzaikwall would like to thank the emergency responders, state agencies, non-profits like Red Cross, FEMA, volunteers, FDNY, N.Y.P.D., the Coast Guard, homeowners and residents for pulling together and helping one another to get through Hurricane Sandy. Many went without sleep or seeing their families to work through the storm.  Our hearts go out to the millions of people who remain traumatized and affected by the storm.  We have our own challenges ahead, we will pick ourselves up from where this storm left us, grateful we did not sustain the worst, knowing we got through it because we stayed together and worked together.  Although some of you loss your love ones and may never go back to normal.  We will pull through, we will rebuild stronger and better than before.  Keep up the good work and please stay safe.
