A Back Yard Vacation Every Day on the Cheap

A Back Yard Vacation Every Day on the Cheap by using things around the House

With the recession still affecting many people, taking a vacation for most is a thing of the past.  Many of us are still trying to keep up with paying the bills and many of us are living pay check to pay check.  If you are one of the few who is fortunate enough with a yard, now matter what size, try investing in that home by making your own “staycation” in the comfort of your own home.  Instead of charging money on a weeklong getaway, consider investing in a versatile outdoor escape that you can use any time of the year.

Spend less money by setting up a staycation at home.  You will have time to spend more time with friends and family in your own yard, deck, patio or fire escape.  Sometimes you need to get away from your busy life. If the thought of one more rushed trip to the airport, dealing with late flights, the extra added expense, and not being able to afford a vacation get you down; consider an alternative by adding an outdoor room in your home.  You can create a simple look even with the smallest space.  It’s all possible with a vision, by thinking outside the box, and by dreaming big.

Before embarking on this project, there are things to consider like wind exposure, the sun, rain or how Mother Nature can be quite unpredictable.  Think of all your option and do not be afraid to Dream BIG.  Grab a pen and paper and go shopping inside for thing you already have that you can bring outside to create the perfect outdoor room by spending very little money.  Put away the passport and start creating the perfect oasis that will make your home feel like a resort destination.

Outdoor rooms can change the way you use your home and give you a user- friendly spot for the perfect staycation. You can create your fantasy fresh air destination in your own home. You are welcome to use things you have inside to enhance the look. For example: the lamp in the living room will look great next to one your favorite chairs, bring the rug in the dining room outside for a while, the nice candle holder on your mantle, and the fancy dishes you only use when you have company.

By adding an outdoor room to your home, you will make it feel more spacious and will create a designated areas that enhance the enjoyment of your property at a much lower cost.  It will be an extension of your house where you can enjoy daily.  You can play, relax and engage your imagination in this space. The possibilities are endless and it’s all in the comfort of your own home.
