Over the past month, local amateur golfers have had the opportunity to put their putting skills to the test at the Aberdeen Asset Management Putting Challenge. This
free lunchtime putting challenge kicked off May 29th, and will be held
in eight prominent business locations in New York City and Brooklyn
leading up to an exclusive VIP Final event on July 9, 2013. Proceeds
from the contest will benefit CityParks Golf, a free instructional program which reaches 3,500 urban youths annually.

Bronx Family Day - Saturday, June 29th
SummerStage Kids presented by Disney presents Bronx Family Day on Saturday, June 29th,
a day dedicated to delighting children and their families through
engaging performances! Experience a variety of acts featuring a unique
blend of dance, music and fun fitness activities. Families will also
have the opportunity to participate in face painting, carnival arts
workshops and more!

for the beginning gardener or budding amateur botanist, these workshops
are held at our Liberty (Queens), Grove Hill (Bronx) and Umoja
(Brooklyn) Learning Gardens and will offer instruction on various
aspects of gardening, from the
unique challenges and benefits of composting to

Golf registration is currently online, and registration for tennis and
